Process
Family or friends are always welcome to attend your bridal preview. In fact, I encourage it! Healthy input from someone you care about and who knows you well is very valuable, and can help with assurance on your desired wedding look.

Show us pictures of your wedding venue, accessories, veil, dress, colors, timeline, etc. This helps paint a visual picture of what your day should look like. It is good for me to know who you are on a regular basis as well as who you want to be on your wedding day.
Fine details
I use high quality professional beauty products to ensure your hair and makeup will withstand hours of wear. My products have light and fresh smells to them so they don't become overbearing after doing 6 up-dos!
If you are allergic to anything or have any sensitivities please communicate this so I can make proper adjustments. If you prefer to use your own personal makeup/hair products, bring them. I understand that some people have specific allergies or skin conditions that prevent use of certain products.

We generally schedule bridal preview appointments 3 months to 3 weeks before you tie the knot. I also recommend using your bridal preview to do a bridal or engagement session with your photographer. In this time frame before the wedding, your hair and skin will most likely be the way it will be on wedding day, which is a perfect time for a trial! If it isn't the length you want, ask about our hair extensions so they can be ordered for you.

I always recommend faux lashes! They look so good in pictures, on every-single-person I have had the pleasure of styling. We offer individual as well as strip faux lashes to our brides to create a customized look, and for brides or bridesmaids that want a more natural makeup look

Pictures are a big deal for a wedding, which is why we use hair and makeup products that are designed for high definition flash photography.

Bridal Preview
aka - HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL
Bring the items you will be wearing: hair piece, veil, and if you are using your own preferred lipstick, bring that as well. You should wash/blow-dry your hair the day before. This way it isn't too clean or dirty, and it holds better through styling. We also offer a Pre-Wedding Blow-Out where we come to you and blow-dry your hair.
Do not wipe your eyes! Dab the tissue or Q-tip in the corner before the tear falls to soak it up. All of our makeup is waterproof and 24 hour wear; however, if you are a crier please let us know so we can make proper precautionary measures. You will have makeup not only on your face, but on your neck and possibly your chest.

Streamlined experience
One of the integral parts of my service is to create a streamlined wedding experience for you and your bridal party. Once you book with me, I will immediately create a draft timeline to get an idea of how many hours & artists we will need to complete everyone on time.
The Urbanek Beauty experience is designed to protect your energy and anticipate your needs so you can be present every moment of your day. If you don't want your bridesmaid having a certain hairstyle or makeup look, I will handle it with grace! If you need help getting into or bustling your dress, I've got your back girl! I will keep everyone on schedule and ensure you don't have to worry about time (punctuality is one of my founding traits).
I take care of all the small details to take the pressure off you so you can enjoy the process. The timeline will have exact times of arrival, departure, service start times- a complete breakdown of your time with me. You will receive your draft 3 months before your wedding date to make any adjustments you may prefer. After it has been revised, you will then receive your final timeline, accompanied with a Wedding Party Guide & Wedding Day Checklist.

How do i book my day with you?
Please fill out the sign up form on our connect page and we will schedule a consultation with you to determine if we are a good fit. To further the process, we will then send you a link to your Client Portal, where you can sign our contract and pay your retainer ($400). After those steps are complete, your date with us is secured.
What products do you carry?
We carry a range of brands to cater to a wide range of skin/hair types; which allows us to provide a flawless customized finished look for each individual. Our kits are stocked with ultra-luxe hair care, cosmetics, and skin care. from brands such as TEMPTU, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Éminence, Kevin Murphy, Too Faced, Oribe, and others.
When do I schedule my preview?
Your bridal preview, also known as a trial, is recommended to be scheduled no more than 3 months before your wedding date. In this timeframe your accessories will be on hand & skin and hair will be very close to how it will be on wedding day, giving us a more accurate understanding of your exact needs. Previews can be scheduled within your client portal after booking.
Will you come to my location?
Beauty services are exclusively on site, offering convenience and more time in your schedule. This also allows us to get to know you in an environment you are familiar or comfortable with.
what are your sanitation practices?
We take every precaution with an extensive sanitation and sterilization process consistent with the current highest industry standard. We are Barbicide certified and update certification yearly.
Are you licensed and continue Education?
Yes! Jasmine has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2012 and takes many classes every year in order to ensure she is always delivering high-end services to her clients. The beauty industry is ever evolving and her education follows suit.
